Description
In 1764, the young Wolfgang Mozart composed six sonatas in London, possibly modeled after Johann Christian Bach's "Opus 2." These versatile works could be performed as piano trios, violin sonatas, or solo piano pieces. The British Library's copy of the edition bears a handwritten note indicating it "belongs to the Queen 1788," suggesting these "Royal" sources were consulted.
