Description
In Mendelssohn's anniversary year of 2009, we are publishing two new extensive volumes (HN 860 and HN 861) that contain nearly all of his piano compositions, in addition to the existing "Songs without Words" (HN 327). These works have been meticulously revised, and extensive commentaries reflecting the latest scholarly research accompany them. As a result, we are able to offer a comprehensive, unique Urtext edition of Mendelssohn's piano oeuvre. Furthermore, his most frequently performed piano works (op. 14, 16, 54, and 72) are also available in affordable single editions.
