Description

In celebration of Mendelssohn's anniversary year in 2009, we are pleased to publish a comprehensive Urtext edition of his piano works. This new edition features nearly all of Mendelssohn's piano compositions, in addition to the existing "Songs without Words" (HN 327), across two extensive volumes.

The works have been meticulously revised, and extensive commentaries reflecting the latest scholarly research accompany the music. This Urtext edition offers a definitive, authoritative collection of Mendelssohn's piano oeuvre, replacing our previous volume of selected works (HN 281).

Additionally, Mendelssohn's most frequently performed piano compositions (Op. 14, 16, 54, and 72) are available in affordable single editions.
