Edvard Grieg's 66 Lyric Pieces created a multifaceted treasury of piano miniatures and character pieces, many of which have become piano classics. Among the most renowned is "The Wedding at Troldhaugen," which we offer here in a separate edition. In this boisterous piece, Grieg recounts the glittering celebration at Villa Troldhaugen for his silver wedding anniversary, an event that drew hundreds of guests and well-wishers.
