Today, Johann Sebastian Bach's three violin concertos (BWV 1041 3) are among his most well-known and well-liked instrumental compositions, and they hold a permanent place in performance repertory.
The New Bach Edition serves as the foundation for Barenreiter's Urtext edition. An Urtext solo part and a solo part featuring bowing, fingering, and performance commentary by Andrew Manze are included in the updated Violin and Piano reduction.
