Description
This composition is designed for SATB chorus, soloists, and a narrator, with the option to include a children's choir. It features masterful choruses by renowned composers such as Mendelssohn, Mozart, and Schubert, alongside beloved Christmas carols by Gruber and Handel. The work can be performed in its entirety or in segments suitable for the Advent and Christmas seasons, and it is straightforward to prepare. Additionally, optional accompaniments are available, including a 3-octave handbell arrangement or a chamber orchestra comprising two violins, viola, cello, bass, flute, oboe, two trumpets, trombone, French horn, and timpani. Fully orchestrated recordings can also be accessed. The choral score spans 48 pages and includes a reprintable 4-page program, with an approximate performance duration of 20 minutes.
