Description
When the creatures of Winter Wood awaken to discover that their beloved pine tree has vanished from the forest, they unite and embark on an extensive search. After failing to find it in the sky, the treetops, the briar, or the brook, Cardinal, Bear, Squirrel, and Deer ultimately find their cherished pine showcased in the town square of nearby Merryville, just as the annual tree lighting celebration commences. They observe in amazement as the festive townsfolk adorn the tree, enhancing its beauty beyond measure. The Mayor announces his intention to plant a new tree in Winter Wood, and the animals pledge to care for and nurture the young sapling, with the aim of returning it to the Merryvillians next Christmas!
