Description
This edition of Handel's "Messiah" is arranged as an SATB Christmas cantata, featuring narration, SATB solos, and five choruses presented in their original keys. The included choruses are "And the Glory of the Lord," "For Unto Us a Child Is Born," "Glory to God," "Hallelujah," and "O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings to Zion." Additionally, there is an option for chamber orchestra accompaniment, which consists of two violins, viola, cello, bass, oboe or flute, two trumpets, timpani, and a continuo keyboard. A fully-orchestrated recording is also available. The choral score spans 56 pages and has an approximate performance duration of 30 minutes.
