Description

626 Requiem Franz Xaver Süssmayr finished the Requiem in its conventional form.

The Requiem K.626, Mozart's last composition, was left unfinished and is full of emotions and questions, including the depth of the music's expressiveness, grief over the great composer's untimely death, truth and legend, and attempts to finish the piece.

It has the quality of a historical source that is extremely near to Mozart's ideas: the completion of the incomplete score by his aide Franz Xaver Süssmayr, who assisted him on The Magic Flute.
