Description
The famous "Rondo a Capriccio" showcases a lighter, more playful side of the composer, who is typically known as a serious and earnest master. Written in 1794/95, this work was inexplicably left unpublished. The piece is a firework display of dazzling ideas, presenting a cheeky theme through a series of ever-evolving variations. After two Intermezzi in G minor and E-flat major, the rondo culminates in an exuberant finale.
