Description

The 'Marcia' and 'Rondo' are frequently the initial concert works for a young violinist that do not belong to any violin method. Both pieces have become popular in classroom performances. They provide the young musician a chance to convey different emotions through vibrant and graceful performances.

The Bärenreiter series of Concert Pieces proceeds with additional pieces from the Violin repertoire. The editions feature a solo Violin part along with a Piano reduction for the accompanist.

The series is overseen by Kurt Sassmannshaus, the world-famous Violin educator and co-author of the 'Early Start' Sassmannshaus Violin school method. His introductions present these small treasures and offer advice for fruitful initial concerts. The editions serve as a perfect extension of the Sassmannshaus Violin school tradition; they may be utilized concurrently starting from the third volume or in combination with any Violin method.

The series will continue and will expose the student to more challenging repertoire with a rising level of difficulty.
