Description
This compilation features 25 original songs inspired by the themes of Earth, Sea, and Sky. The concept was initially developed for a group of primary schools in Devon participating in a comprehensive 'Planet Earth' project. Consequently, the Sea songs are tailored for Years 1 and 2, the Earth songs for Years 3 and 4, and the Sky songs for Years 5 and 6. While designed as a cohesive school initiative, Earth, Sea, and Sky also functions effectively as a standalone songbook for selective use.
The songs are crafted with consideration for the abilities and range of the intended age groups, with optional part writing to encourage participation from less confident choirs. This collection serves as a delightful continuation of Junior Songscape, enhancing Lin Marsh's well-regarded resources for classroom singing.
