Busoni's ten Chorale Preludes for Organ, alongside his Chaconne for Violin, represent his most recognized piano transcriptions of J. S. Bach's compositions. While the Chaconne was intended for concert settings, the Chorale Preludes are arranged in a style reminiscent of chamber music.
