Description
Bruch's "Romance" has long been a staple in the romantic viola repertoire, whether taught in lessons or performed on the concert stage. Our edition is the first to thoroughly consider all relevant source materials. Like the original print, it includes the composer's own accessible piano reduction. Experienced violinist Ernst Schliephake has added fingering and bowing suggestions. In 1911, Bruch also published an arrangement for violin, which this new edition now reintroduces after many years. A valuable addition to the violin repertoire.
