Description
A few years ago, we published an arrangement of the "Elephant" movement from Camille Saint-Saëns' "Carnival of the Animals." Now, we are proud to present the first Urtext edition of the composer's "Swan" solo, a sonorous romance originally scored for cello and two pianos.
Charles-Joseph Lebouc organized the premiere of this work and performed the cello part. With the composer's permission, Lebouc then adapted the piece, reducing the accompaniment from two pianos to one. The second piano part is reproduced in small print, allowing for comparison between the original and adapted versions.
