The Best of Belwin Jazz: Young Jazz Collection features twelve exceptional jazz arrangements tailored for young ensembles. Each piece is crafted by skilled educational jazz arrangers and composers, showcasing a diverse range of styles and tempos, including swing, ballad, holiday, rock, Latin, and pop. While the collection is designed for full instrumentation, it can also be adapted for a smaller group consisting of four saxophones, three trumpets, two trombones, and three rhythm players. Optional parts are available for flute, clarinet, horn in F, baritone horn T.C./tenor sax, and tuba. The rhythm section includes suggestions for rhythmic patterns, piano chord voicings, and guitar chord frames, with all solos fully notated in the improvised sections.
