The Best of Belwin Jazz: Young Jazz Collection features twelve exceptional jazz arrangements tailored for young ensembles. Each piece is crafted by skilled educational jazz arrangers and composers, showcasing a diverse range of styles and tempos, including swing, ballad, holiday, rock, Latin, and pop. While the collection is designed for full instrumentation, it can also be adapted for a smaller group consisting of four saxophones, three trumpets, two trombones, and three rhythm instruments. Optional parts are available for flute, clarinet, horn in F, baritone horn T.C./tenor sax, and tuba. The rhythm section includes suggestions for rhythmic patterns, piano chord voicings, and guitar chord frames, with all solos fully notated in the improvisational sections. The conductor's book comes with complete CD recordings of each title.
