Description
Anatol Lyadov (1855-1914) was a prolific Russian composer, conductor, teacher, and arranger of folk songs, despite writing few large-scale works. Instead, he composed numerous piano miniatures that abound in lyrical charm - some imbued with a quiet melancholy, others revealing a delicate humor. This album collects eighteen of Lyadov's piano miniatures, providing pianists with a varied repertoire of moderate to difficult pieces.
