Description

The delightful collection of Preludes provides an excellent introduction to Baroque music. The album is divided into three sets of six preludes. The first set comes from the Wilhelm Friedemann Bach Notebook, compiled by Johann Sebastian Bach for his eldest son. The second set was likely composed by Johann Sebastian Bach and has been preserved in copies made by his pupils. The third set comes from the collection of Johann Peter Kellner, of which only the final two preludes are known to be written by Johann Sebastian Bach.
