This newly engraved edition of the Seven Toccatas, BWV 910–916, draws upon Bischoff's comprehensive analysis of both manuscripts and secondary sources. It retains his insightful footnotes and prefatory commentary, along with his performance suggestions. Additionally, the edition provides explanations of the ornamental techniques employed throughout the pieces and includes practical fingering guidance. For ease of navigation, measure numbers and BWV designations have been incorporated.
