Description

The left hand will prominently showcase the haunting melodic line throughout this D minor, 4/4, andante composition. While the main theme is being played, the right hand accompanies softly with block chords, but it takes over the melody in the second section. Numerous crescendos and diminuendos are present, providing ample opportunities for expressive phrasing. This piece is a selection for the Federation Festivals 2016-2020 and also for the Federation Festivals 2020-2024.
