Description

As part of the Belwin Master Solos series and developed under the guidance of Keith Snell, each folio includes a curated selection of graded solos that serve as a valuable resource for both students and educators.

Each folio features compositions from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical eras, alongside folk songs and traditional melodies, as well as a section dedicated to original works. For students, these solos offer material that presents specific challenges in rhythm, range, and key signatures, all within music that is both educational and enjoyable to perform.

Each solo has been thoughtfully chosen and arranged to test the student in various aspects of technique and musicianship, while also providing exposure to a diverse array of musical styles that are pleasurable to play. Furthermore, careful consideration has been given to crafting accompaniments that are straightforward to execute, yet simultaneously enhance the interest of the solo parts.

These solos are available in easy, intermediate, and advanced levels, similar to the Belwin Master Duets.
