This release of Vivaldi's seminal work is a vital performing version of the Manchester manuscript, which comes from Vivaldi's network and provides an alternative (often more detailed) rendition of these renowned concertos compared to the initial printed edition issued by Le Cene in Amsterdam in 1725. The Manchester manuscript has not yet served as the main foundation for a contemporary performing edition, presenting fresh interpretations and insights for both musicians and audiences.
