Description
This late elementary solo composed by Dennis Alexander is ideal for reinforcing bass clef notes and enhancing reading skills. Set in D minor, both hands are utilized in the bass clef, with the left hand often crossing over the right hand. Students will easily envision an angry alligator while performing. They will appreciate the rich sounds and acquire experience in executing dynamic contrasts. The 3/4 meter will facilitate the production of the powerful sounds associated with a lumbering, furious alligator.
