Description

Mendelssohn composed his second piano concerto in 1837, which made its debut at the Birmingham Festival of the same year, alongside his St. Paul Oratorio. The concerto has a duration of approximately 23 minutes and is orchestrated for strings, flute, clarinet, oboe, horn, trumpet, and timpani.
