Description
A new collection of duets by the esteemed American composer Robert Starer. This compilation of four duets is referred to as a "suite" due to its incorporation of elements characteristic of that form. Each duet stands alone, however, and can be performed individually. The first duet serves as both a prelude and a mini-fugue, while the second is more lyrical in character. The mood of the third duet is scherzando, and the primary theme is reiterated in the finale.
