Author : Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach
Description
Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach, the son of renowned composer Johann Sebastian Bach, served at the court of Buckeburg. In 1787-88, he published a four-volume collection of his keyboard and other music titled "Musical Leisure Hours," from which the 69 short pieces in this album have been selected. These miniatures were intended for light entertainment, mostly in the popular dance forms of the day, while a few harkened back to the style of his esteemed father.
