Endangered Species - Youth Music Foundation has introduced a £1 million initiative aimed at providing over 5,000 children with access to specific musical instruments, including the double bass. The Abracadabra Strings team has already developed a successful series, and with the addition of two new consultants, they have created an exceptional tutor for the double bass. This collection features a range of well-known tunes, carefully graded for various skill levels, and includes duets, trios, and solo pieces that will please both teachers and students. Notably, the double bass book aligns with the Abracadabra Violin, Viola, and Cello series, ensuring that students across different instruments can collaborate musically from their very first lesson. Accompanying the book is a CD that showcases performances of each piece on double bass, with piano accompaniment available in the Abracadabra Strings Piano Accompaniments. The recording allows for separate channel adjustments, enabling students to focus on either the double bass or piano as needed.
