Description
Skilled bassoon instructors are uncommon outside of major cities that host prominent symphony orchestras or universities with esteemed music faculties. In 1958, William Spencer addressed the need for resources aimed at serious bassoonists by publishing The Art of Bassoon Playing. Following Spencer's endorsement, Frederick Mueller undertook the responsibility of highlighting recent developments in bassoon performance, teaching methods, and instrument production, leading to a revised edition of The Art of Bassoon Playing.
