Description
Listen to the World is a captivating five-volume series of piano compositions that spans all skill levels, drawing inspiration from a range of intriguing and exotic themes. Much of the music reflects my experiences as a concert pianist and ABRSM Examiner during my travels abroad. The compositions capture the fascinating sounds that surround us, including the elements, wildlife, and the daily activities of people. This collection weaves together exotic imagery, ancient symbolism, and touches of humor to create a rich musical tapestry.
The piano serves as an exceptional medium for expression, allowing us to explore a spectrum of musical colors that may reveal glimpses of ourselves, familiar and unfamiliar places, or even dreams yet to be realized. Within this volume, listeners will encounter music inspired by a banyan tree, the Panama Canal, and the haunting echoes found within the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. If we attune our ears, the world may indeed have something profound to share with us.
