Moszkowski, a Polish-born pianist and teacher, achieved acclaim during the final two decades of the 19th century. According to Paderewski, Moszkowski's piano compositions encompassed the full range of technical piano skills, and his works were flawless from both a pianistic and pedagogical standpoint.
