Description

This duet encompasses all the enjoyment of ragtime -- doubled! The syncopation and jump bass, which present a challenge in ragtime solos, are manageable in this composition as they are distributed between the secondo and primo parts. The melody is also shared equally between the two sections. Students will appreciate the toe-tapping rhythm and memorable melody. This piece is a selection for the Federation Festivals 2016-2020.
