The term "xtreme" is frequently associated with sports to describe extraordinary achievements. The Solo Xtreme series was designed to inspire piano students to reach similar heights in their musical journey. These compositions challenge students to move beyond simple, stationary melodies, encouraging them to explore the keyboard, execute hand crossings, employ various articulations, and incorporate harmonic intervals and accidentals. Additionally, the use of the pedal enhances the expressive quality of the music, fostering both technical skill and musicality. Notable titles in this series include Beach Fun!, Blues Band, Chitchat, Enchanted Forest Waltz, Hot Salsa!, Irish Fiddlin', Kitesurfing, The Old Typewriter, and Pizza to Go, all of which are selections for the Federation Festivals from 2020 to 2028.
