Description
This book presents a collection of solos that embrace pianistic freedom while adhering to the stylistic and formal elements of each piece. Although the hands are encouraged to explore the keyboard with flexibility, the technical demands of each composition are intentionally kept within manageable limits to promote student success. The titles include Empty Stage Rag, Face to the Sun, Flames, Grand Waltz, Laid Back Boogie, Midnight Chase, Missing You, Storm Warning, Toccata, and A Wish, with "Toccata" recognized as a selection for the Federation Festivals from 2016 to 2020.
