Description

This concerto, which was released and circulated around c. The piece from 1780 in Paris attributed to Boccherini was later found by musicologists to have been composed by the Bohemian court musician Franz Xaver Pokorny (1729-1794).

Since the piece originally appeared attributed to Boccherini and has remained popular under his name, this reprint is also published with his name to prevent confusion.

This piano arrangement provides musicians without an orchestra the chance to experience a delightful concerto in early classical fashion.
