Otakar Tevčík (1852–1934) was a Czech educator and violinist. He is regarded as one of the greatest people in the world in his field and is the originator of his own teaching methodology, which has led to exceptional results and recognition. In the truest sense of the word, Ševčík became a "world" instructor of violinists from many countries, whose art has conquered and continues to conquer the world.
