Recommended for grades K-6, The Unfriendly Beasts is a delightful and humorous tale about the animals in the manger who must accommodate Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus in their cramped stable. The animals express their discontent, and Mayor Mouse takes the lead in creating a "NO VACANCY" sign. However, as the Light of Salvation gradually brightens the darkness of the stable, their hearts transform from indifference to kindness. Before long, the Unfriendly Beasts evolve into the Friendly Beasts, and the entire stable comes together to welcome the holy family. Will you join them? Will you open your heart to Jesus?
