Description
This collection of secular songs and sacred music for one to six voices will please all enthusiasts of medieval and Renaissance music. Featuring an abundance of both sacred and secular music from the 12th to the 17th centuries, the collection encompasses a wide variety of emotions. About fifty percent of the songs are non-religious, with some originating from popular traditions and others from the noble poets and musicians associated with musically talented rulers. Certain pieces of music included are published for the first time.
