Description
This compilation features duets, trios, and quartets composed by American composers Alexander Reinagle and Francis Johnson, along with several anonymous works. Arranged by Anne McClenny Krauss and Maurice Hinson, these dances and marches were among the most favored during the era following the Revolutionary War. Duets and trios are intended for performance on a single piano, while quartets are designed for two pianos. Dynamics and articulation have been incorporated to enhance the clarity of the musical concepts.
