The selected titles have earned notable recognition, having been included in state and festival lists. Each instrument is accompanied by two volumes of progressively arranged solos designed to challenge students as they advance in their musical journey. Curated by Andrew Balent, the pieces featured in these volumes are drawn from various state contest lists, many of which have been hard to find. Additionally, separate books containing piano accompaniments for all solos in each volume are available for each instrument.
