A Perfect 10, Book 3, is a curated anthology of piano solos aimed at fostering musical excellence among early intermediate pianists. Melody has selected a notable teaching piece from each of the four major stylistic periods—Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary—and has composed six original works in various genres, including Jazz, Blues, Ragtime, Latin, Ballad, and Showstopper. This collection of ten solos not only presents technical challenges but also offers expressive avenues for students to enhance their skills in mood, rhythm, melody, harmony, form, articulation, and dynamics. While achieving a perfect "10" may not require Olympic-level prowess, students will certainly feel accomplished as they practice and perform these engaging pieces. Notable titles include Arabesque, Blue Sky Rag, Cool Cats, Minuet in D Minor, Sassy Samba, Snake Charmer Blues, Sonatina in C Major, Spring Storm, The Village Maidens, and Winter Memories, with "Cool Cats" and "Winter Memories" recognized as selections for the Federation Festivals from 2016 to 2020.
