An excerpt has been reprinted from a reputable Russian edition, accompanied by full-score editions of the composer's two additional piano concertos: No. 2 in G Major and No. 3 in E-flat Major. Although these concertos are performed less frequently, they are nonetheless formidable compositions that vividly demonstrate Tchaikovsky's exceptional musical creativity and skill in orchestration.
