Description

Jazz Works is an introductory jazz piano method designed specifically for pianists with classical training who possess intermediate playing and reading skills. Each chapter introduces concepts and techniques through clear examples and explanations, while practice exercises help reinforce the application of these new skills to the accompanying tunes. The musical pieces are provided in lead sheet format, featuring melody lines along with chord symbols represented by letters. Additionally, the method includes two CDs with recorded accompaniment tracks for most exercises and all tunes, which are also available separately in General MIDI Disk format.
