Description

The pastoral imagery depicted on the cover of this composition for intermediate piano ensemble, featuring two pianos and four hands, is mirrored in the expressive music composed by Randall Hartsell. The melody, set in G major, is performed in parallel octaves by the Part I musician, while Part II provides a smooth arpeggiated accompaniment. Two copies are provided. This piece is a selection for the Federation Festivals 2024-2028.
