Description
This collection is tailored for students who have only recently begun their musical studies and possess limited note-reading abilities. Many of the pre-reading solos are set in the Middle C Position, featuring melodies that are shared between both hands. Students may encounter unfamiliar rhythmic notations in some pieces; however, they often manage to play the music from memory, or they can quickly grasp the rhythms through rote learning. Each piece is accompanied by a duet part, making it suitable for collaboration with parents or teachers. The titles included are Frosty the Snowman, (There's No Place Like) Home for the Holidays, It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!, The Little Drummer Boy, Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town, Sleigh Ride, and Winter Wonderland.
